CSI 001-71-02는 perlecan에 대해 높은 특이성을 가지며, vitronectin, fibronectin, elastin, collagen, laminin 등 다른 결합조직 단백질과의 교차반응은 없습니다. 단, human thrombospondin과는 교차반응이 있습니다. 다른 종은 시험되지 않았습니다.
이 항체는 ELISA, 면역조직화학(IHC), Western blot 등 다양한 실험에 성공적으로 사용되었습니다. 또한, 면역침강(IP), ELISA, 냉동 PLP 고정 절편의 면역염색에도 적용 가능합니다. 이 항체는 재조합 domain I을 조직배양액에서 분리하는 친화 크로마토그래피에도 사용할 수 있습니다.
Epitope은 domain I에 위치합니다.

Target Information
Perlecan은 모든 기저막과 세포 표면에 존재하는 주요 heparan-sulfate proteoglycan(HSPG)입니다. 성장인자를 저장하고 보호하는 기능을 통해 종양세포 성장 및 전이 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. Perlecan은 FGF-2의 코리셉터로 작용하여 혈관신생 및 성장 촉진 기능을 가지며, perlecan 억제 시 종양 성장과 신생혈관 형성이 현저히 감소합니다. 따라서 perlecan은 종양 진행의 주요 조절자로서, 이를 표적으로 하는 치료 전략은 항암 치료의 효율을 높일 수 있습니다.
