Target Information
LRRC19 is a member of the extracellular leucine-rich repeat superfamily, involved in cell adhesion, signaling, and innate immunity. It is closely related to Toll-like receptors (TLRs), particularly TLR3. Although LRRC19 lacks a cytoplasmic Toll/IL-1 receptor (TIR) domain, it can activate NF-kappa-B and induce proinflammatory cytokine production upon stimulation with TLR ligands. LRRC19 may play a role in pathogen recognition and response, and has been suggested as a potential biomarker for pancreatic tumor sensitivity to Src inhibitor AZD0530.
