For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use.
Aliquots of the 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use materials in original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (minimum 20 µL).
Do not store kinase diluted.
If properly stored at -80°C, product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.

Target Information
PI4KB and PI4KA are human type III PI4 kinases that share sequence similarity with PI3 kinases and phosphorylate the 4 position of phosphatidylinositol.
Mammalian PI 4-kinases are classified into types II and III based on molecular mass and modulation by detergent and adenosine.
PI4KA is a type III enzyme not inhibited by adenosine.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for PI4KA.
