Target Information
The betaIII-tubulin isoform is dominantly expressed in neuronal cells and serves as an early marker of neuronal differentiation. It is used as a specific probe for cells and tumors of neuronal origin. BetaIII-tubulin is most abundant in neuronal cells but can also be found in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
