Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is crucial for lipid metabolism in plasma and is a component of various lipoprotein-lipid particles. It is synthesized in liver, brain, spleen, and kidney, with high concentrations in interstitial fluids. ApoE mediates cholesterol distribution between cells and contributes to the formation of very low-density lipoproteins and chylomicrons.
The ApoE gene is located on chromosome 19 at position 19q13.2.
