For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CDKN2A gene produces multiple transcript variants differing in their first exons.

• Two variants encode isoforms that inhibit CDK4 kinase.
• Another variant encodes an alternate open reading frame (ARF) protein, structurally unrelated to the others, which stabilizes the tumor suppressor protein p53 by binding to and sequestering MDM2.
  Despite structural differences, both CDK inhibitor isoforms and the ARF product regulate G1 cell cycle progression.
  CDKN2A is frequently mutated or deleted in various tumors and functions as an important tumor suppressor gene.
