Target Information

Synaptotagmins, including SYT8, share a common domain structure with a transmembrane domain and two cytoplasmic C2 domains. Some members are involved in synaptic membrane fusion, while others function in endocytosis. For additional information on synaptotagmins, see MIM 185605.
