Target Information
The IKZF3 gene encodes a member of the Ikaros family of zinc-finger proteins. These hematopoietic-specific transcription factors (Ikaros, Aiolos, Helios) regulate lymphocyte development. IKZF3 (Aiolos) is crucial for B lymphocyte proliferation and differentiation, participating in chromatin remodeling through various dimer formations (Ikaros homodimers, Ikaros/Aiolos heterodimers, Aiolos homodimers). Multiple isoforms are produced via alternative splicing.
