Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CXCL11, recombinant mouse BLC, CRG-2, GCP-2, MIG, PF4, and SDF-1 alpha is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant (I-TAC), belonging to the CXC chemokine family, is expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas, liver, thymus, spleen, lung, small intestine, placenta, and prostate.
Its molecular weight is 8–11 kDa. I-TAC is also known as CXCL11 and IP-9.
This cytokine regulates calcium release and induces chemotactic response in activated T-cells, acting as the dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3.
The gene contains 4 exons and multiple polyadenylation signals, suggesting cell-specific regulation. IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of its transcription, and expression is elevated in patients with AIDS, dementia, and multiple sclerosis.
