Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family.
CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, sulfated sialylated glycoproteins including CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV).

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use at 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

NovaFluor Compatibility Notes:

• Not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.
• Include CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample or per 100 µL cell suspension (10³–10⁸ cells).

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor.
It includes:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Spacer, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions

CD62L is constitutively expressed on leukocytes including lymphocytes (except many memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
