Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells, binding glycosylated and fucosylated ligands such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1. These interactions mediate lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated for flow cytometry; use 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test (100 µL final volume; 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
• Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before combining with cells.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor composed of:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions

It is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes, including lymphocytes, monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells (except many memory T cells).
