MA1-045 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence analysis of PSD95 in human motor neurons derived from iPSCs.
Target Information
Post Synaptic Density 95 kDa (PSD-95), also known as synapse associated protein 90 kDa (SAP90), is a membrane-associated protein found in postsynaptic density of forebrain neurons and certain presynaptic structures in the cerebellum.
It contains three PDZ domains, followed by an SH3 domain and a guanylate kinase homology (GuK) domain.
PSD-95 participates in clustering of NMDA receptors and Shaker-type potassium channels at the synaptic membrane in CNS neurons.
Interaction occurs via C-terminal T/SXV motifs or PDZ-PDZ domain binding, enabling association with NMDA receptors, potassium channels, serotonin receptors, and neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS).
