• Successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
• Antibody Specificity: Reacts with the heavy chains of goat IgG and with the light chains common to most goat immunoglobulins. No reactivity with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins detected by immunoelectrophoresis. Possible cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species.

Restoration and Storage:
Store at 4°C until opened. Restore with 1.1 mL distilled water (1.5 mg/mL after restoration). Centrifuge if not clear after standing 1–2 hours at room temperature. Product may be stored for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. After dilution, use within one day.
For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final ~50%) and store at -20°C.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. Useful for detection, sorting, or purification of goat IgG. Secondary antibodies enable multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity via signal amplification. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and modification (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation).
