Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
RBP4 (Retinol Binding Protein 4)은 리포칼린(lipocalin) 패밀리에 속하며, 혈중에서 비타민 A(레티놀)의 운반 단백질로 작용합니다.
간에서 저장된 레티놀을 말초 조직으로 전달하며, 혈장 내에서는 트랜스티레틴(transthyretin)과 결합하여 신장 사구체를 통한 손실을 방지합니다.
비타민 A 결핍 시 결합 단백질의 분비가 억제되어 표피 세포로의 레티놀 공급이 저하됩니다.
