Target Information
Bcl-w는 생존 촉진 활성을 가진 단백질로, 인간과 마우스 간에 높은 보존성을 보입니다. 이 단백질은 인간 염색체 14의 TCRα 유전자 근처에 위치한 유전자로부터 발현되며, 골수 계통 세포주에서 발현되지만 T 및 B 림프구에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 다양한 조직에서 발견되며, 엑손 4의 대체 스플라이싱으로 두 가지 전사체가 생성됩니다. 첫 번째는 193 아미노산으로 구성된 Bcl-w이며, 두 번째는 333 아미노산 길이의 Bcl-w/rox입니다. Bcl-w/rox의 rox 부분은 초파리 rox2 단백질과 66%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 보입니다.
