Target Information
Factor I, a serine protease, is a regulatory component of both the alternative and classical complement pathways. It is synthesized as a single-chain precursor of 88 kDa and processed into an active form composed of two disulfide-linked chains — the α-chain (50 kDa) and the β-chain (38 kDa). Plasma concentration is approximately 35 µg/mL.
