• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3) is a 281 amino acid, Type-1 Th1-specific cell surface glycoprotein expressed on terminally differentiated CD4+ Th1 and CD8+ Tc1 cells.
It includes an IgV-like domain, a mucin-like domain in the extracellular region, and a conserved tyrosine phosphorylation motif in the cytoplasmic region.
TIM3 participates in macrophage activation and autoimmune disease induction, down-regulating Th1-mediated immune responses and promoting immune tolerance.
Its pathological significance is linked to experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), a Th1-dependent autoimmune disease that increases EAE severity in mice.
