Target Information
This gene is a member of the RAB gene family, which belongs to the RAS GTPase superfamily. These proteins are small GTP-binding molecules involved in the regulation of exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. The gene maps to a site of ancestral telomere fusion and may be subtelomeric. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
