Target Information

RhoC is a member of the blood-group antigen family, defined by sequential addition of saccharides to carbohydrate side chains of lipids and proteins found on erythrocytes and certain epithelial cells.
A, B, and H antigens are known to undergo modulation during malignant cellular transformation. Blood group-related antigens represent carbohydrate determinants carried on glycolipids and glycoproteins, typically mucin-type, and are detected on erythrocytes, epithelial cells, and in secretions.
Sixteen genetically and biosynthetically distinct but inter-related specificities belong to this group, including A, B, H, Lewis A, Lewis B, Lewis X, Lewis Y, and precursor type 1 chain antigens.
