Target Information
Anti-Chicken secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for chicken immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of chicken IgY targets.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
They are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
