Target Information
DEAD box 단백질은 Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD) 서열 모티프를 특징으로 하는 RNA 헬리케이스 계열 단백질입니다. 이들은 RNA 2차 구조 변형과 관련된 여러 세포 과정(번역 개시, 핵 및 미토콘드리아 스플라이싱, 리보솜 및 스플라이소솜 조립 등)에 관여합니다. 일부 DEAD box 단백질은 발생, 정자형성, 세포 성장 및 분열에 관련된 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
DDX5 유전자는 RNA 의존성 ATPase이자 증식 관련 핵 항원으로, simian virus 40 종양 항원과 특이적으로 반응합니다. 이 유전자는 13개의 엑손으로 구성되어 있으며, 일부 인트론 서열을 포함하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되었지만, 이들로부터 생성되는 이소폼은 확인되지 않았습니다.
