The antibody detects endogenous levels of total RDM1 protein.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in the cellular response to cisplatin, a chemotherapy drug. The encoded protein includes two motifs: one similar to RAD52, which functions in DNA double-strand break repair and homologous recombination, and an RNA recognition motif (RRM) not found in RAD52. The RAD52-like motif region is important for DNA binding or oligomerization. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported.
