For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Aipl1 is a tetratricopeptide repeat protein implicated in Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA), an autosomal recessive disorder associated with abnormal photoreceptor development.
It is homologous to ARA9, a protein involved in HSP90-mediated nuclear translocation and transactivation of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor.
Aipl1 functions as part of a chaperone heterocomplex interacting with Hsp90 and Hsp70 and associates with the cell cycle regulator NUB1.
It cooperates with Hsp70 to suppress NUB1 inclusion formation, which is essential for normal photoreceptor maturation.
Mutations disrupting these interactions lead to LCA. At least three isoforms of Aipl1 are known.
