Target Information
PLEKHM1은 Pleckstrin homolog domain을 포함하는 M family 단백질군에 속하며, RUN domain, 두 개의 PH domain, cysteine-rich domain을 포함합니다. 인간에서 골경화증(osteopetrosis)의 원인으로 확인되었으며, Rab7과 함께 후기 엔도솜/리소좀 소포에 공동 위치합니다. Rab7의 prenylation에 의존적으로 동작하며, PLEKHM1 변이체는 골흡수 결함 및 소포 산성화 장애를 일으켜, 골세포 간 상호작용에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
