Spectrin은 actin 교차결합 및 분자 스캐폴드 단백질로, 세포막을 actin 세포골격에 연결하여 세포 형태 결정, 막단백질 배열, 세포소기관 조직화에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 alpha-beta 이합체가 머리-머리 형태로 결합된 사량체 구조를 이루며, 22개의 spectrin 반복 도메인을 포함합니다.
