Target Information
DMRT1 유전자는 동일한 유전자군의 두 다른 구성원과 함께 클러스터로 존재하며, 공통적으로 zinc finger-like DNA 결합 모티프(DM domain)를 포함합니다. DM domain은 척추동물 성결정 경로의 보존된 구성 요소로, 파리와 선충에서 남성 발달의 핵 조절 인자로 작용합니다. 이 유전자는 생식선 특이적이며 성별에 따라 다르게 발현됩니다. 해당 유전자가 반수체인 경우 고환 발달 결함 및 XY 여성화가 발생할 수 있습니다.
