Target Information
Alpha Actinin 1은 spectrin 유전자 초가족에 속하며, 다양한 세포 유형에서 여러 역할을 하는 actin-binding 단백질입니다. 비근육 세포에서는 미세필라멘트 다발과 세포 접착 부위에서 actin을 세포막에 결합시키는 역할을 하며, 근육 세포에서는 Z-disc 및 유사 dense body에 존재하여 myofibrillar actin filaments를 고정합니다. 이 유전자는 비근육성 세포골격 alpha actinin isoform을 암호화하며, erythroid beta spectrin 유전자와 동일한 위치에 매핑됩니다. 세 가지 전사체 변형이 보고되어 있습니다.
