- Group I: GRM1, GRM5 (phospholipase C 활성화)
- Group II: GRM2, GRM3
- Group III: GRM4, GRM6, GRM7, GRM8
Group II 및 III 수용체는 cyclic AMP 경로 억제에 관여하나, 작용제 선택성이 다릅니다. GRM7 유전자는 여러 이소폼을 암호화하는 다양한 전사 변이를 가집니다.
