Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of JDP2 only when phosphorylated at Thr148.
Target Information
JDP2 is a component of the AP-1 transcription factor complex that represses transactivation mediated by the Jun family of proteins. It is involved in various transcriptional responses associated with AP-1, such as UV-induced apoptosis, cell differentiation, tumorigenesis, and antitumorigenesis. JDP2 can also act as a transcriptional repressor by recruiting histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3) to the JUN promoter region, thereby modulating histone modification and chromatin assembly.
