For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Ki-67 is a nuclear protein expressed during various stages of the cell cycle, particularly in late G1, S, G2, and M phases. It associates with euchromatin, centromeric heterochromatin, and the nucleolus via its forkhead-associated (FHA) domain.
Ki-67 shows cell cycle-dependent localization: perinucleolar at G1, nuclear matrix-associated at G2, and chromosomal during M phase. It serves as a proliferation marker, absent in G0 cells but increasing from G1 through mitosis.
Ki-67 antibodies are widely used to determine the proliferative fraction in neoplasms, with a strong correlation between low Ki-67 index and low-grade tumors. It is also a common neuronal marker of cell cycling and proliferation.
