Target Information
PAK7 (KIAA1264)는 세포골격 역학, 증식 및 세포 생존 신호 조절에 관여하는 키나아제입니다. 이 단백질은 CDC42/Rac1 결합 모티프를 포함하며, GTP 존재 시 CDC42와 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 주로 뇌에서 발현되며, 신경돌기 성장(neurite outgrowth)을 촉진하여 신경돌기 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 미세소관 네트워크와 관련되어 있으며 미세소관 안정화를 유도합니다. 이 키나아제의 세포내 위치는 세포 주기 진행 동안 엄격히 조절됩니다. 동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변이도 보고되었습니다.
