Target Information
Podocalyxin은 sialomucin 단백질 계열에 속하는 단백질로, 사구체 podocyte의 주요 구성 요소로 처음 확인되었습니다. Podocyte는 사구체 기저막 외측을 덮는 고도로 분화된 상피세포로, 세포골격 요소와 결합하여 Na+/H+ exchanger regulatory factor와 복합체를 형성합니다. 본 단백질은 조혈세포 분화에 관여하며 혈관내피세포에서도 발현되어 L-selectin과 결합합니다.
