SSU72는 yeast Ssu72의 고도로 보존된 상동체로, CTD phosphatase이자 polyadenylation/termination machinery의 구성 요소입니다. Human SSU72는 염색체 1p36에 위치하며 단일 유전자로 존재합니다. pRb 결합 인자로 확인되었으며, TFIIB 및 yeast PTA1과 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 본 항체는 다양한 human 세포주에서 약 30 kDa의 단일 밴드를 인식하지만, mouse 조직에서는 반응성이 낮습니다.
