Target Information
Cluster of differentiation 8 (CD8)는 면역글로불린 수용체 계열의 type I 막관통 당단백질로, 신호전달 및 T 세포의 분화와 활성화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
CD8은 주로 T 세포 표면에서 CD8α와 CD8β의 이황화 결합 이합체 형태로 존재하며, T 세포 수용체(TCR)와 함께 MHC class I 분자에 대한 공동수용체로 작용합니다.
CD8α 사슬은 MHC-I 결합에 필수적이며, NK 세포, 단핵구, 수지상세포 등에서도 CD8α 동종이합체 형태로 발현됩니다.
항원제시세포(APC)가 제시하는 MHC-I/peptide 복합체와 결합 시, Lck kinase가 활성화되어 림포카인 생산, 세포 이동성, 세포독성 T 림프구(CTL) 활성화를 유도합니다.
활성화된 CTL은 병원체 및 종양 세포 제거에 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다.
Naive CD8+ T 세포의 CTL로의 분화는 IL-2, IL-12, TGF-β1에 의해 촉진됩니다.
