EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 유전자 전사 억제 상태를 세포 세대 간 유지하는 복합체 형성에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 embryonic ectoderm development protein, VAV1 oncoprotein, X-linked nuclear protein과 상호작용합니다. EZH2는 조혈 및 중추신경계에서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있으며, EZH2 변이는 Weaver syndrome (WVS)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
