EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, 이들은 유전자 발현 억제 상태를 세포 세대 간 유지하는 다단백질 복합체를 형성합니다. EZH2는 배아 외배엽 발달 단백질, VAV1 온코단백질, X-연관 핵 단백질과 상호 작용하며, 조혈계 및 중추신경계 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다. EZH2 변이는 Weaver syndrome(WVS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
