Target Information
GOT2 (Glutamic-Oxaloacetic Transaminase 2) is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme found in the inner mitochondrial membrane. It plays a role in amino acid metabolism, as well as in the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. GOT1 and GOT2 are homodimeric enzymes showing close homology.
