Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Nrl (neural retina leucine zipper) is a member of the Maf family of transcription factors containing a conserved basic leucine zipper (bZIP)-DNA binding motif.
Both Nrl and c-Maf bind T-MARE sites and regulate expression of cell type-specific genes in hematopoietic tissues, cerebellum, and developing hindbrain.
Nrl promotes rhodopsin expression in retinal cells via the Nrl response element in the rhodopsin promoter.
It is expressed throughout the developing nervous system and restricted to neocortex, brainstem, and retinal neurons in adulthood.
