Recombinant human Interleukin-22 (IL-22), also known as IL-TIF or ZCYTO18.

Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a cytokine belonging to the IL-10 family, which includes IL-19, IL-20, IL-24, and IL-26. It is produced by activated dendritic cells and T cells and plays a key role in innate immune responses against bacterial pathogens, particularly in epithelial cells of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts. IL-22 activity is mediated through binding to the IL-22R1/IL-10R2 receptor complex and regulated by IL-22BP. It also promotes hepatocyte survival and supports epithelial cell integrity in the liver, lung, and gut.
