Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and mediates crosstalk between adiponectin and insulin signaling pathways. It interacts with proteins such as RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and NuRD/MeCP1 complex components. This protein is associated with endosomal membranes but can be released by EGF stimulation and translocated to the nucleus.
