Product Specific Information

  • For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
  • Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.

Target Information

RBP4 (Retinol Binding Protein 4)은 리포칼린(lipocalin) 패밀리에 속하며, 혈중에서 비타민 A(레티놀)의 운반체 역할을 합니다. 간의 저장소로부터 말초 조직으로 레티놀을 전달하며, 혈장에서 transthyretin과 복합체를 형성하여 신장 여과를 통한 손실을 방지합니다. 비타민 A 결핍 시 결합 단백질의 분비가 차단되어 표피 세포로의 비타민 A 공급이 저해됩니다.
