Target Information
FOXO1 (FKHR, Forkhead Box O1)은 전사 인자(forkhead family)의 일원으로, 핵 수용체 활성 조절에 관여합니다.
FOXO1은 PAX3과의 결합을 통해 횡문근육육종(rhabdomyosarcoma)과 관련이 있으며, 종양 억제, 자가포식(autophagy), 근육 성장 및 분화 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 인슐린 신호전달의 주요 타깃으로, 산화 스트레스에 대한 대사 항상성 유지에 관여합니다.
FOXO1은 인슐린 반응 요소(IRE) 및 Daf-16 결합 요소(DBE)에 결합하여 유전자 발현을 조절하며, 골세포 수와 골량 조절, 포도당 대사 및 골격계 내분비 기능 조절에도 관여합니다.
간세포에서는 PPARGC1A와 함께 IGFBP1, G6PC, PPCK1 등의 발현을 촉진하여 포도당신생합성을 유도합니다.
또한 CDK1, PKB/AKT1, SKT4/MST1 하류에서 세포사멸 조절 인자로 작용합니다.
