Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Muscarinic cholinergic receptors belong to the G protein-coupled receptor family. Their functional diversity is defined by acetylcholine binding, leading to cellular responses such as adenylate cyclase inhibition, phosphoinositide degradation, and potassium channel mediation.
These receptors influence many acetylcholine-mediated effects in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Muscarinic cholinergic receptor 1 (CHRM1) is involved in vagally induced bronchoconstriction and gastric acid secretion.
The CHRM1 gene is localized to chromosome 11q13.
