Target Information
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6)는 cytochrome P450 초과산화효소군에 속하는 효소로, 약물 대사 및 콜레스테롤, 스테로이드, 기타 지질의 합성에 관여하는 monooxygenase입니다.
이 단백질은 소포체에 위치하며, 일반적으로 처방되는 약물의 약 20%를 대사합니다.
주요 기질로는 adrenergic-blocking 약물인 debrisoquine, 항부정맥제 sparteine 및 propafenone, 항우울제 amitryptiline 등이 있습니다.
CYP2D6 유전자는 높은 다형성을 보여 일부 대립유전자는 효소 기질 대사 능력이 저하된 poor metabolizer phenotype을 나타냅니다.
이 유전자는 염색체 22q13.1에 위치하며, 두 개의 cytochrome P450 pseudogene 근처에 존재합니다.
다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 alternative splicing 변이가 보고되었습니다.
