Takara DNA 5`-end labeling kit

The DNA 5-end labeling kit MEGALABEL is designed to perform 5-end labeling of DNA with high efficiency, using [32P]-Y-ATP and T4 Polynucleotide Kinase. This system achieves a high specific activity (>106 cpm/pmol) with blunt or cohesive nucleic acid ends. The kit is designed to eliminate the need for pretreatments such as dephosphorylation, phenol extraction, or ethanol precipitation. This kit is also appropriate for the phosphorylation of synthesized oligonucleotides, readily providing DNA probes labeled to high specific activity.
