Target Information
Mitofusin 1 (MFN1)과 관련 단백질 MFN2는 미토콘드리아 막 GTPase 단백질로, 미토콘드리아 대사 조절에 중심적인 역할을 하며 비만 및 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 과정과 관련될 수 있습니다.
MFN1과 MFN2는 동종 및 이종 복합체를 형성하여 미토콘드리아 융합을 조절하며, 배아 발달에 필수적입니다.
과발현 시, MFN1은 Bax 단백질의 미토콘드리아 이동에는 영향을 주지 않지만, Bax의 활성화 조절에 관여하여 세포자멸사 경로를 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
