Target Information
DNAJB9 is a member of the J protein family, which regulates the ATPase activity of 70 kDa heat shock proteins. It belongs to the type 2 subgroup of DnaJ proteins and is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. This protein is induced by ER stress and helps protect stressed cells from apoptosis.
