For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Sorting nexin (SNX) proteins are members of a large family of hydrophilic PX (phospholipid-binding motif) domain-containing proteins that interact with various receptor types. SNXs are widely expressed, though expression levels vary among tissues.
Their phospholipid-binding capacity and ability to form protein-protein complexes suggest roles in membrane trafficking and protein sorting.
SNXs may function in pro-degradative sorting, internalization, endosomal recycling, or general endosomal sorting.
SNX8 is an ortholog of a yeast protein.
