Target Information
This gene encodes a protein identified in metastatic mammary adenocarcinoma cell lines. Expression correlates with metastatic potential in various carcinomas but is also observed in normal tissues. The protein is associated with the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex and contains DNA-binding, dimerization, and methylation-related domains. It is implicated in transcriptional regulation through chromatin remodeling.
