Target Information
VLK는 배아줄기세포가 중내배엽으로 분화할 때 유도되는 새로운 단백질 키나아제로 확인되었습니다. 무척추동물에는 상동체가 없지만 척추동물에서는 높은 보존성을 보이며, 알려진 키나아제 그룹에 속하지 않습니다. 초기에는 E-cadherin 양성 전방 내배엽 및 중내배엽에서 발현되며, 이후 E-cadherin 음성 중간엽으로 발현이 제한됩니다. 골지체에 풍부하며 단백질 수출 속도를 조절하는 것으로 추정됩니다. VLK 결손 마우스는 폐 발달 결함과 신생아 치사를 보이며, VLK 변이가 아토피와 관련될 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
